Many people complain about the leave Thailand every 90 days part of this visa but I will use it as a day out and go to Nong Khai for my border run and stop on the way back at Villa Market at Udon Thani and pick up some of the western items that are not available here in Khon Kaen so it can be very useful.

Thanks for the info Russell, Previously I had done these visas for about 3 Years at Savannakhet, but changed to retirement extension at KK immigration.
Now with the uncertainty about the requirements about monthly income method, I will be going back to Savannakhet in January so your info is very helpful.

Does the Laos visa still take up a full page in your passport! $:-\$
