Anyone know if there is a fed-ex office in KK?

Google says there is one, but their facebook page says, "no location available".

FedEx has sub-agents make deliveries in Khon Kaen. It used to be TNT who have (had) offices on the opposite side of the parking lot at the big TESCO. Don't know if that is still true.  However, if you call them, they will come to you and collect whatever. No more expensive than if you were to drop it off.  They will bring envelopes or boxes or whatever and waybill. On the phone, tell them the dimensions, content and destination, and they will quote you a price.

EMS via the post offices is, in my opinion, just as good  and a MUCH better deal.  Documents to the U.S. normally B600-B900. Door-to-door tracking same as FedEx.  Sending packages will cost more, obviously.  FedEx might be around B3,000 for the same service.

 Thanks Rex,

I need to send documents to the social security office in Manila.  They say to send by Fed-ex, DHL, or UPS.

Google says there is a DHL office here, but the reviews are not as good as for Fed-ex. I have received parcels from Fed-ex, and always good service. (expensive, $110 for a credit card.)

This is for my wife's social security so, money is no object.

"...TNT who have (had) offices on the opposite side of the parking lot at the big TESCO."

That's the old big TESCO, South of town.

I used DHL just past Hugz, across the street from Tukcom, to send documents and then have the documents returned from social security people in Manila. The send part went great, less than 24 hours from dropping them off in Khon Kaen to getting them into the social security peoples hands in Manila. Not quite as smooth coming back but it all got back. I remember it being less than 2,000 baht to send and same to return. DHL in Manila seems to go to the social security office in the embassy everyday. Not much English spoken in the DHL office in Khon Kaen but they know what you want to do when you show them the address in Manila. It is actually their agent, Ionic Logistics, but a big DHL sign is hard to miss right out their front door. Good luck.

They no longer have a contract with TNT, but as Rex mentioned, if you call them at 1782,  they will pick up your package.  The closest Fed-Ex office to us is in Korat.
