Thanks Reuben. It is import to make sure whether this regulation applies to you or not and to clarify what type of visa you actually have. If you are not sure, visit your Imm office and find out.  Most (or at least a substantial number of us) are on an "O" visa, as opposed to to an "O-A" or "O-X".  The "O-X" is a ten year visa.  The confusion ...

Yes, it is right that you now need an updated Kor Ror 2 for your extension renewal. This is available at the Amphur office for a fee of 20 baht. I believe that this is a new requirement every year now...

In late 07 or early 08 I checked at Srinagarinds after hours clinic about getting surgery on my knee.A young doctor gleefully told me that they could do the surgery, but it would be 50% (I think 50) more for a foreigner to have the surgery done at that clinic.The waiting time was very short compared the the wait at the regular hospital clinic.I opted to have the surgery at another government hospi...
