Well Rex, if you must know, and I guess you must. It did contain nudity.

I went to India for medical treatment. I got a bad case of crabs!

Actually, I went for prostate laser surgery. Over the last 10 years, the faucet has slowly been turning off and it was just a matter of time till the water works came to a halt. I heard about a good surgeon here in Delhi and the price was right, so here I am.

It's only been 4 days, but it seems the surgery was a success.

Well, my first time at Suvvanabumi was a breeze. I didnt know if 2 hours was enough to catch my connecting international flight.

I entered the terminal and had my boarding pass within 10 minutes! Had plenty of time to look around.

When I went through passport control, the immigration officer was a farang who spoke perfect Thai and no English!

 Frank,

Does the bank fill out who the draft is payable to, or do you?

Almost time for my flight to bkk.

When I get off the plane at Suvvanabumi, are there signs to direct me to the 4th level? Then after check-in, I go to passport control on the 5th level?

 Sounds like a big airport.

  Rex,

Sorry to hear about the situation you're in. Losing a beloved pet can be just as traumatic as losing a friend or family member.

I once asked a monk about putting a suffering animal out of it's misery. I said I know Buddhism says we shouldnt kill, but it also says we should practice compassion. He said compassion is a state of consiousness we have on the inside and he pointed to his heart. He said we can have compassion for the animal but should never kill it. I understood his explanation, but it doesnt help much when dealing with a dying loved one.

If it's any consolation, from what I've heard, dying of kidney failure is not a bad way to go. I believe when the kidneys fail, the other organs shut down and this usually happens while you are asleep.

I think it's difficult to find a vet that will euthanize, but I hear they are out there.

I've been to alot of dentists here and most of them have been very good.

However, when it comes to cleaning teeth, I have yet to find a dentist that does a real good cleaning like I used to get in the US.

They usually just poke around with a pick and then brush.

I want to buy some US hundred dollar bills.

Do I just go into the bank and buy them with baht?

On Sri chant road, if you're in front of Bangkok Bank and driving east, after the second set of lights, about half way to the third set of lights, there is a small drug store on the right. I think it's called "Prasit".

They have epsom salts. About 50 bt for a bag, maybe 1 kg.

In Thai it's called "dee gleua" or "dee gleua farang".

 Thanks Charlie,

I dont have any checked baggage, but I suppose that doesnt matter.

When I arrive at BKK from KK, is it far to my connecting TG flight? I remember at Don Muong, the international terminal was quite a ways from the domestic.

 Thanks screamer,

  Yes, both are TG.

If they still do it at the check in counter, I guess that would be my best bet. Hopefully, they will give me a boarding pass for my connecting flight.

Never seen the new airport in BKK, should be interesting.
