I suspect there are immigration offices in the country when in and out in 23 minutes would be considered lightning fast!

Henry,  A sin card?  Can I have one of those, please?

I was there Tuesday.  Very busy, but thank heavens desk 3 was doing 90 day reports only, so I was in and out quickly.  Only two other desks were open for visas etc.  All officers were wearing masks and had a jar of some sort of hand cream.  About half the people waiting were wearing a mask.

I didn't realise they were different.  In which case what is happening to both systems?

Its gone very quiet regarding the new tram system in our fair city.  Has anybody noticed any works or seen any announcements?

No, but it does show the contempt they have for us non-Chinese.

Screamer:  81mg aspirin at the pharmacy facing and slightly to the left of the main post office in town.  Foil packets there, I think.  Small bottles at the pharmacy in Keha just past Wat Nong Waeng.

I have taken a baby aspirin, 81mg, a day for the past 40 years or more.  I have had no trouble buying them either loose, or in foil, or in a little bottle, depending where you buy them.

I hope that last sentence was tongue in cheek, because I have seen that happen all to often.

I have a Huawei which I like.  But don't buy it if you're American or president Trump will start economic sanctions  against you.

I sometimes wish our governments would enact casual discrimination against Thais in our home countries the same way.  Nothing serious, just generally bugger them about and change the rules every 6 months.

Are you playing devil's advocate Rex?  It's common courtesy to dress respectfully.  The immigration officer  can make it easy or difficult for you as we all know.  Why give them another reason to be awkward. Then you can put your shirt and long trousers away for another year if you want.

Would you go to a government office in your own country to ask them for something you really needed if you were wearing shorts, t-shirt and flip-flops?

And the word "Christmas" doesn't appear once.
