British Passport Renewal
« on: July 12, 2017, 04:39:19 PM »
Have any of the Brits out there had any experience with Key Visa Company or Thai Visa Express ?
Or any other company offering Passport Renewal services.

I'm considering their use as I'm getting too long in the tooth for trips to Grung Thep.

Pity the Brits do not have the outreach program that the Americans have.

Do you really expect the UK embassy to provide a service to UK citizens living here?

Nope. We expect bugger all unless it involves a large fee.

Sent each one an identical email with a couple of queries.
One replied - See website.
The other replied with answers.
Posted my passport, filled application form and proof of address to them by EMS on 31/Aug/2017
New Passport received 6/Oct/2017 (would have been a week earlier but I misread an email)
Cost 11,000 Baht - 6,000 for passport & 5,000 for their service

Much easier and probably cheaper than two trips to Bangkok.
Therefore I can recommend KeyVisa for this service.
