If the item is not made in Thailand, you are going to pay for shipping and duty regardless of whether it is folded into the base purchase price or added on after.

I have a project that is made from 1 inch PVC pipe using many pieces of specific lengths; a few inches to 1 or 2 feet.  Anyone know if the boys at HomePro (or another big box shop, or some other place) cut to specific lengths?

Tks, lah!

Hey Andy,

I am bumping up this old thread.

Long time no see!  Are you in KKC or the UK?  Did you ever have any luck finding people to practice with here?  I wonder if you would consider starting a class in KKC?

I did not realize you were a teacher until I just came upon some of your stuff on Udemy and elsewhere. I was especially interested to see that Shibashi is one of your areas.  If you are in KKC, I wonder if you would consider starting a class?  I would be happy to discuss it with you and help with organizing and promoting if that interests you.

I was lucky enough to have a workshop in Bangkok in 2012 with Sifu Wing, the last one he did in Thailand. He is now on extended sabbatical/retreat and won't being doing any more for the foreseeable future.  Since then, I have only had videos to learn from.  I always thought it was amusing that we had to import a Chinese guy from Canada to teach QiGong in Thailand! Not much of it around.  Certainly more in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, but nothing in KKC.

Anyway, thought I would check in with you.  I'll send this to your e-mail as well since I don't know if you visit the forum very often.

Cheers,

Rex

It is amazing how dumb the mind is!  I always take the Songkran numbers at face value without comparing them to non-Songkran numbers.  Steeve, assuming your figures are correct, 24,000 / 52 weeks = 462 road fatalities every week! Sigh!

Songkran kicks off with 2,700 charges of drunk driving

More than 3,000 motorists were found to be driving while drunk on the first of the so-called “seven dangerous days” of the Songkran holiday. A junta spokeswoman said on Thursday that 156 vehicles were seized the day before and 2,716 motorcyclists and other drivers were charged with drunk driving.

Opposite (across Na Muang Road) from Number 1 Bar, a few hundred feet down a little soi is one we have dealt with, but only for sheet metal we used to reinforce an old door.  Worth a looksee if you are traveling around town.

SONGKRAN ALERT FOR 2018

Officially Thu 12 - Mon 16 April 2018, but may run longer. Dates upcountry may differ slightly. Songkran is end-to-end with another festival in Pattaya, so the festivities continue for a week longer.

Anyone hear from  John (Dogeater) who used to be active on the old forum and for a little while on this one? It must be a couple of years since we have heard anything.  Also, nothing from Phil (Babymaker).

Wow!  This is an OLD thread.  Tony, I am curious, did anything ever happen with your photography meet-up project? How is that going?  I am more focused [pun intended] on video that still photography, by I am starting from zero experience and zero knowledge base, and would like to learn all I can.

ET AL
I have a feeling that I may get some distractors comments from this post. However, personally I am very positive about the future of Cryptocurrencies.
I first invested in Bitcoin in January 2016, and then altcoins in 2017, since then I have managed to extract my original investment and have achieved 1000% return.
I work overseas, 2 months away and three weeks back in Khonkaen, what I am looking for is someone to help me set up a small crypto mining system, nothing-extensive more of an interest.
If anyone is interested, I open suggestions.
