What to do in Bangkok for a few hours???
« on: April 09, 2017, 03:10:34 PM »
ForumMates,

I am thinking of attending a conference in Bangers on a Sunday at 1:30 p. at Sukhumvit.  I imagine it will be a couple of hours, no more than 3.  I am thinking of flying to arrive around 9:00 a that morning and escaping at 6:00 p from Don Juan.

So I will have approximately four hours before and maybe a couple of hours after.  That's a strange amount of time.  Any suggestions for how to use it? The four hours before is more of a issue than after. A couple of hours at Don Juan is not a huge problem, especially as they gots Burger King!   smiley32

Isn't that the last day of Songkran?  I'd head for some indoor shopping therapy and not set a foot outside.

Not sure he's talking about this coming Sunday.  In his post he said 'a Sunday'.

How about a massage?

If I go, it will be Sunday April 30, well past Songkran.  Yeah, a massage is about the only thing I have been able to come up with so far.

I always find the exhibitions at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre more interesting than they sound.
Right next to National Stadium BTS.
