Forgot to do my 90 Day Report

FORGOT TO DO MY 90 DAY REPORT!  cry2

Never done that before!  You would think that with all the recent discussions here about this topic that it couldn't slip my mind. Possibly I was thinking that since I did my extension in December, the 90 Day was not coming up until March.  Just looked at the receipt in my passport, and I was due on 21 Jan. Damn!

In any event, what is the correct or best way to deal with this? Does it make any difference at this point whether I  do my report immediately or just wait until the next 90 days comes round in  20 April? Are they going to want to speak with me and ask for an explanation, or do I just smile and pay the fine and be on my way?

Tks, lah!

i would be down there this morning to face up to it.  Longer you wait worse it will be.  I think you have a week or so on either side of the date, but i would get down there Rex this morning hat in hand.  All you can really do.  Bring some Baht.......

Worse than what???  It's a B1,900 fine.  Maybe I should have phrased my question:  "What, if any, are the advantages of taking care of it now rather than when the next 90 Day is due?

Does anyone actually done this before or have any first-hand information?

It makes no difference when you go and own up.
The fine is usually 2,000 Baht but it can go up to 5,000 baht if they actually catch you out rather than you owning up.

Get down there and pay up. Not going to break the bank is it?

Rex, if you have a smart phone, and if you don't have a calendar app in it, download one.  I use mine constantly.  I will put a reminder in the calendar about 3-5 days before due so "it will then remind me!"  The same with my retirement extension due date and as well as the Embassy Outreach I wish to attend, etc!

UPDATE - Fri 9 Feb 2018, 5:01 pm

Ae went to Imm with my 90 day report this morning.  Poor kid.  Said she had to wait nearly an hour for the boss to sign-off due to the report being late.  Other than that, all was routine. My next report is 90 days from today.  Of course they levied the B2,000 fine, as I had expected.

Walk in with a bag of fruit and say something funny in the Isarn dialect. Never had to pay the fine.

I did my 90 day report this morning and the carpark was full of police vehicles including a couple of SWAT cars and the cage truck from immigration plus over the other side there were a lot of van buses and other cars around where the helicopter lands, so something must have been going on there.
Inside the immigration office there were a few new staff members there, the chap at desk 1 was not there and a woman has replaced him. the usual women at desks 2 and 3 weren't there either, there were 2 new women there.

Possibly it was because Princess Soamsawali (the current king's first wife) was in town to give out the degrees at north-east university.
